Hokkaido

Hitsujigaoka Country Club

Hitsujigaoka Country Club was designed by Sadakichi Mano, a golf course designer. He was the first person in Japan to receive a doctorate in golf course design in 1932.

He designed 32 golf courses in his lifetime, but only two in Hokkaido. The course opened in 1974. It has five tee marks and can be enjoyed by both average and advanced players depending on their skill level. Although it is the closest golf course to Sapporo City, the course is surrounded by white birch forests, making it easy to enjoy the great nature of Hokkaido.

It takes about 30 minutes by car from Sapporo Station and about 50 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport.

The club is a membership golf club, but the restaurant, lockers, showers, and store in the clubhouse are also available for visitors.
